info
C/O Berlin is an exhibition centre for photography and visual media founded in 2000 by Stephan Erfurt, photographer, Ingo Pott, architect and Marc Naroska, designer. As a non-profit foundation, C/O Berlin presents works by renowned artists, promotes young talent and invites visitors to explore our visual culture. As a meeting place, C/O Berlin organises artist talks, panel discussions, film screenings and guided tours, offering visitors a direct exchange about the exhibition programme and current debates in the visual media. Supporting young talents on their artistic path is an integral part of C/O Berlin. The C/O Berlin Talent Award is the only prize in Europe that honours a tandem of artist and theorist up to the age of 35. The C/O Berlin Education department complements the programme with the important part of visual education and art mediation. The Junior, Teens, Adults and Perspectives formats offer the opportunity to get to know photography, film and design under professional conditions and to playfully realise their own ideas. Naroska has been responsible for all of the museum's design activities for 25 years now. During this time, the design for over 180 exhibitions, a large number of publications, posters, invitations, etc. has been created.
