Liu Ye—Catalogue Raisonné 1991–2015
It is no accident that Liu Ye’s simplified paintings recall cartoons and illustrations in children’s books: his father wrote children’s books and had a box full of classic western children’s literature, much of it banned. The pictures in those books influenced Liu from a young age. Naroska designed Liu’s first catalogue. Encompassing 398 pages, it offers a general overview of the artist’s work from 1991 to 2015.
